Travel is soul's food, but it doesn´t exclude the pleasures of a good table, essential to comfort every traveler's stomach. This is a guide of my favourite restaurants around the world. Enjoy it!

  Argentina has the best meat of the world. At La Chacra grill, I recommend the «lomo» and «cuadril» steaks or the enormous «costilla» steaks (more than one pound or 2,2 pounds!).

  It calls itself «the spirit of the outback», but it looks more like an American saloon! From the traditional Australian barbecue, look for «The Drover's Blowout», that includes kangaroo, emu, crocodile, camel and cow grilled meat.

  This little Darlinghurst restaurant, with a good esplanade on the sidewalk of Victoria Street, is an oasis to taste some of the best French dishes, from the «escargots» to the steak tartare «sauté».

  A genuine Italian restaurant, but also a true art gallery, with a large number of paintings that cover almost entirely the dinning room walls.

  In the heart of the famous The Rocks, this Thai specialties restaurant has the particularity of seating 40 people at a long communal stainless steel table.

  In a nice four star hotel with a beautiful panoramic view of Maputo's port and Baixa, the Bahia is one of the meeting point restaurants for Mozambican VIP and business men. On weekends entire families gathered around it's Sunday buffet.
